I am a transplant to Idaho about 4 years ago but proudly call Idaho home now. I am an avid outdoorsman that loves camping, hiking, fishing, and being on the water. I am currently studying for my associate’s degree in communication at the College of Western Idaho. I am married to a wonderful lady and have 4 amazing kids and two grandchildren.

This will be my fourth year with IHFF as their emcee and fifth year attending overall. IHFF is an important part of my life as it allows me to enjoy the two things I love the most, speaking to people and horror movies. I view my role as emcee as more than just introducing the audience to the next block of films, I see myself as a guide along the journey through the weekend. I am there to help find answers to questions from the producers, writers, directors, and actors; to help them connect the dots, and yes, keep them informed as to what is happening next so they don’t miss anything important. I enjoy getting to meet the participants of the festival each year and learning about their movies and what motivated them to create, develop and produce their artwork and sharing those facts with the audience.
